Quality Technician

Position Summary

The Quality Technician assures consistent quality of production by enforcing quality checks on in-coming, in-process, and out-going products.

Essential Functions

  • Verify parts and products compliance to specifications
  • Report non-conformaties in the CAPA database

Knowledge and Critical Skills/Expertise

  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Handling of dimensional inspections tools and software
  • Understanding of product specification and the criteria for compliance

Work Environmental and Physical Demands

  • In order to perform the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, talk and hear, and use fingers and hands to feel objects, tools or controls.
  • Overtime may be necessary as the workload dictates. This may include week days, weekends, nights and/or holidays.
  • Travel between the NCI facility locations as required.

Experience and Education

  • High School Diploma is required; Associate’s Degree or higher is preferred but not required.
  • Equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be accepted
  • 2+ years’ experience in manufacturing environment
